Lucia,

Send us an email, using the contact us form in the upper-right hand corner of the blog. Let us know as much information about your sponsorship as you can (e.g., your child number, name of the child development center, when you were sponsored, what country the sponsor was from, etc.). A representative can see if we still have any information about your sponsor. If we do, then we'll pass along your contact information to the sponsor, and the sponsor can determine if he or she would like to resume contact.

Happy Anniversary Compassion Haiti! My name is Lucia Louissaint, and I was sponsored by someone; however I don't remember the name of that person. Can someone help me please? I just want to say thank you to that person and thank you Compassion for helping me during the hard time. May God continue to bless you all.

Chris (or any other staff) who are moderating comments now:

I'm interested in what the current values for the last two goals are. The other ones list current numbers but these don't. If you don't have the information, I understand, I'm just curious if it is a huge jump as each of the other increases seem massive. Improving the water to 50% from whatever it is now (even if it is 45%) is huge when they are planning to add 73 projects!

4) 100 percent of our children will be vaccinated
5) 50 percent of our child development programs will have access to potable water

I know this comment is really 'late'. I've decided to start going back through the older posts that I never read since I discovered the blog. I'm really glad you guys started it!

I have been a sponsor a at least one child in Haiti since 1988. My latest one is in the LDP and I anticipate Jean Wilken's contributions to Haiti should be very long reaching.

I am so pleased to have been a part of this history.

Thank you for this opportunity to serve.

Congratulations Haiti! I've sponsored in Haiti since 1988, so have been a part of the journey for a while. I remember meeting LDP students there in 2002--how impressive these young people were! I look forward to the day I can return to Haiti -- I met so many wonderful people there. Blessings on all of you in this great 40th celebration!

Happy Anniversary Compassion Haiti! You have accomplished wonderful things. God bless you all.

I'm excited to see how the Leadership Development Program grows -- and I love the idea of increasing access to potable water. Great goals!

It is still amazing to me, to see how God works, when people give themselves, and their talents to Him, and He works miracles, in places like Haiti that is so in need of help, in every way!-and they are getting it through Compassion! So happy to see how God is working miracles, there! Wonderful!
Happy Anniversary to All!
