I’d love to see how my child spends his day in his home country
I cannot tell you how much I love this! I don’t sponsor any children in Bangladesh, but I love learning about different countries and seeing how others live. This was a perfect glimpse for myself and my young daughters. Thank you!
I noticed that throughout the video he spoke his native language but when he prayed, Dipu prayed in English. Where did he learn that prayer? Does he understand what he is praying? Is he learning English in school? I just found it a bit odd. Not bad or anything just odd.

Hey Katie, I actually shot this video and spent the whole day following Dipu. He is actually learning English in school and loves a chance to practice it. He just isn’t comfortable enough to tell his whole story in English. I can tell you 100% that he knows what he is saying in his prayer. Thanks for asking the question. I’m sure you weren’t the only person who wondered.

Wonderful post. I echo Calliope’s sentiments above; hope to see more “day in the life” videos about Compassion sponsored children from other countries. These videos are wonderful for showing prospective child sponsors how a child can benefit from sponsorship and how this impacts their daily life.

Jeff, thanks for the clarification. On more than one occasion I’ve prayed and worshipped the Lord in languages I don’t understand and I know the Holy Spirit has interpreted for me so I didn’t mean to question his faith or anything like that. I just found it interesting that his prayer was the only thing in English.
