Dave Eubank, founder of Free Burma Rangers, spoke during our chapel on July 27, 2011.

Dave shared some of his first-hand experiences behind the Burmese border. You clearly hear his heart for the oppressed ethnic minorities in Burma (Myanmar) and learn about what is being done to help them.

You can also view the Free Burma Rangers video on YouTube.

it is very difficult to imagine what the karens and those oppressed by the burma army go through, especially, when we live in our comfort zone everyday.

but i believe that in every one’s life, there is a battle field. there is an enemy to fight. and what the eubank family has shown to us is that whatever situations we are in, obedience to God’s voice can save our lives.

thank you so much for sharing this. :)

We got to meet and hike with this family yesterday. They are amazing and we immensely enjoyed our short time with them. When I asked them about their experience with Compassion and speaking at the GMC, they had wonderful things to say.

They live very near to our sponsored child in Thailand. Our family really connected with theirs and we are hoping our paths will cross again…perhaps in Thailand where we can also meet sweet Orm.
