Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth and heaven. It is the color of the sky. And it is the color of Compassion. It represents the unlimited potential of the children we serve.

Blue has always been my color. I had no idea til I read this thatCompassion has an “official” color but I would’ve guessed that it is blue. Ya’ll have blue on everything and now I know why. The meanings of blue are what Compassion is all about! I am so glad I read this!

Me too, Sherry! Actually, my favorite color was purple from the time I was 14 until a few months before I became a Compassion sponsor. I even had a pair of purple hightop Reebok’s back in 1987. LOL! But for the first time in 25 years I changed my favorite color from purple to blue. I actually shocked myself. Then I became a sponsor and realized why my heart changed. Blue it is! I love blue. And I love the beautiful pictures on this blog!
