I'm sorry, I'm a bit technically challenged at times; I downloaded the new tool bar and re-booted. It comes up at the top, but I have no home page screen now. Can anyone give me any insight as to what I may have done wrong?
Thanks,
Marci

I got it working! Yea!
The problem was after installing, the registration window came up, wanting the verification code with my information. I didn't have one or know about one. The only clue was a word on the bottom line, so I typed it in, without success; it all failed. I tried using the bar without registering, and it works. But, without registering, the bar didn't connect to my Compassion account. But, after clicking out of the toolbar and restarting my computer, I turned it back on and it came out fine. When I opened the registration section, the code came up under the last line, so I knew what to type in. It's the set of letters and/or numbers that come up often to register other applications, to assure it's a real person. Then, I had to verify my email. So, now it works fine and showed a donation I made.
Anyway, I'm sorry about the false start. Knowing computers like to scare me, I should have tried restarting and all first instead of getting impatient too fast.

Diane,

There is no verification code needed to download or install the toolbar.

When did you get prompted for a code? I'm assuming it occurred at some other point.

It requires a verification code to register it. I don't know it, so can't register it; it's useless.

Just downloaded it! I don't suppose that you could make it link to the Compassion Canada website (as far as writing letters, etc.)?

sounds great! I wish I could download it... my computer has been acting goofy lately, so I don't think this is an isolated incident.
