Compassion Bloggers Travel to Uganda

travel to uganda This team of bloggers will travel to Uganda and experience firsthand our ministry to children living in poverty.

Join us in celebrating five years of blogging for children around the world by following their journey in Uganda via words, pictures and video between January 27 and January 31, 2014. Meet the team…

  • Joy is a baker, blogger, photographer and author extraordinaire! She runs Joy the Baker, a blog filled with amazing recipes that will have you run (not walk) to the kitchen to make them. We are thrilled to have Joy join us on this trip.

  • Myquillyn loves her home, the handsome men in her family and often reminds us, “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.” She runs nesting place, a blog where life is celebrated and all are, in Myquillyn’s words, “free to be who they really are, faults and all.”

  • Emily blogged with us from The Philippines in 2011 and is blogging with us a second time with her sister, Myquillyn aka The Nester. She runs Chatting the Sky, a blog that will inspire you to hope, dream and courageously live the life God envisioned for you.

  • Jeff is an author, blogger, husband, father, speaker and consultant — not necessarily in that order. He uses his many talents to encourage and educate other aspiring writers through his blog, Goins Writer.

  • Mike is a photographer and storyteller who captures magical moments in the lives of country music stars, couples in love and children all over the world. His blog Mike Varel Digital Storytelling is a visual inspiration!
