I love looking at how things come together, often with little awareness on my part of the significance of the details, only to see that God was in every single step, every detail, to fulfill His purposes.

Now, when I see things happening, prayers that seem to go unanswered, I know that God is really at work; I don’t always know how, or what He’s doing, exactly, and sometimes that’s frustrating. But I know He is working.

I think waiting to see how the pieces fall into place is most difficult when a child’s–or even an adult’s–suffering is allowed to continue, despite the fervent prayers of many people.
