Thank you Chris. I don't know anyone personally, but I'll be watching! Years ago I knew missionaries in Ecuador, but they are now retired.
Thanks for your help.

Karen,

If you know someone who is traveling with Compassion you can definitely ask them to carry a package for you. Even if the person isn't going to the specific child development center, the package can be given to someone in the country office and then taken to the development center during the next regularly scheduled visit. That can sometimes be weeks or months, but it will eventually get there.

How generous, Tom! My child is not in one of the centers you will be visiting. I hope I'm tuned into the blog when someone does visit his center.

I have a question pertaining to staff visiting the centers. Is it possible for me to send a small gift to be hand delivered to my child that I would not otherwise be permitted to send through the traditional mail?

Alexis,

The first two digits of your child's number (GU) mean that he is in Guatemala.

I don't know what site my child is at. His number is GU: 921-0018. If you could just check and see if he's at one of those specific locations, that would be GREAT!
Thanks!

Awww, I have three kids in Ecuador but none are at those projects.
But thanks for doing this! I know it means a lot to the sponsors who have kids there.
