My wife Rebecca and I sponsor sweet Sumita in Bangladesh. She too is excited about Christ Jesus, and her family celebrated their first Christmas ever last December. Can't wait to hear from her how they celebrated Easter! (We're praying for their salvation.)

This was my favorite part...as it is a good reminder...

"The lifestyle of the people at the villages is very simple, and they celebrate Easter in a simple way and that brings an exceptional flavor to this joyous occasion. Their simple lifestyle allows them to focus completely on the resurrection rather than on fancy clothing or food."

“Did you see my new skirt? My mother made it for me. We had a great Easter day. I know Jesus is Alive and he will come to take me. I love Jesus.”

Amen

It is always interesting to read about Compassion's work in countries that are predominately non-Christian. Living in a non-Christian country myself where Easter is a "non-event" for most people, it was fascinating to read about the experiences of these lovely children and their connumities.
