I am a new sponsor for a child in Brazil and I hope that one day I can sponsor her in the LDP too. Thank you for sharing such a poignant story. I am even more convinced that this is the thing God wants me to be doing. Great photos too!

Thanks for all the compliments! To Sara Benson, unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to interview Careen. I love meeting LDP students, and I’m sure she has an amazing story, hopefully there will be a next time in the Philippines to document more of these students.

I agree–the photos are great! Thanks for sharing them. I loved reading about James–what an impressive young man. I, too, have sponsored a girl for many years (in Thailand) that is now in the LDP program. I want so badly to meet her some day–we’re very, very close. I hope to attend her graduation in a couple of years.
