Forgive One Another

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened to you isn’t important or doesn’t matter.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be consequences for the hurt done to you by someone else.

And forgiveness doesn’t mean you always have to reconcile with the person who hurt you.

So, what is forgiveness? And what does it mean to forgive one another?

You can also view the Forgive One Another video on YouTube.

Actions always have consequences. When God forgives us he doesn’t necessarily take away the consequences of our actions that led to our need for forgiveness.

King David was forgiven of his adultery and actions that led to the killing of Bathsheba’s husband but the consequences still lingered throughout the rest of his life. Forgiveness nonetheless takes away the paralysis of an injured relationship and allows us to move on.

Thank you, Compassion, for sharing these with us. Thank you, Wess, for sharing your heart and life lessons with us.

This was so moving. Thank you Lord for prompting Wess to be used for Your glory! Lord bless him, fill Him with Your spirit and protect him from the enemy. Lord help all of us to be able to forgive each other, because You ask that we do.

I’m so very grateful for this message, for your openness, transparency and truthful admonition. I have only known this kind of forgiveness in the last few years, and what a wonderful place it is to be! In my life, I have only found healing when I have repented of my own resentment and anger, and then truly forgiven others, knowing that God used it all for good in my life.
