Thanks again for the update on Nicaragua, it is amazing to see those photos they look very similar to the kids we saw on last year's sponsor tour. I am realizing even more the significance of what Compassion is doing!!! I would love to work at Compassion but even more than that I desire to visit the kids I sponsor which with a lot of prayer and some work I have been doing!!! Thanks for all your work!!!

Thank you for the reply Vicki. I have this image in my mind of the children standing and waiting for their name to be called and sadly, do not hear it. Another month to wait. It IS so important to write!

My understanding--based on visits to only one country--is that the projects get mail about once a month, and "mail call" is held. Yes, the children who never or very seldom receive mail are very sad. Writing to them is *so* important!

When sponsor letters arrive for the children are they given out privately or in front of all the other children? If so, aren't the children who don't receive a letter just left standing there wondering where THEIR letter is? So glad to hear the other two children now have sponsors!

Actually, the other two registered children, Maria and Auner, now have Canadian sponsors. When Orfa originally wrote the post, they weren't sponsored.

The article mentions that three of the children are "Compassion-assisted", and then goes on to say that only one is sponsored. Are the other two registered, but waiting for sponsors?
