I especially love that Compassion does “NOT compromise the centrality of Christ in [its] messages and programs.” I know there is great temptation in this world for both individuals and corporations to bend their beliefs to be accepted by others or to meet certain corporate goals.

But all I can think is, if Compassion had ever given in to the pressure to water down its Christian message, Meredith Dunn’s wonderful post “Faith Rising” may never have been written.

I think Matthew Parris’s article was a little thank you note from God for doing what we know is right. Rewards come in strange ways sometimes. That article put a HUGE smile on my face.
