Hey! See that square thing on the left? The box with the blue “kid” in it. We call him “Skippy.”
Anyway, that thing is a gravatar … a globally recognized avatar. It’s an image, associated with your e-mail address, that follows you across the Web.
Gravatars help identify your posts and comments on blogs, in forums and … well, on any site that has the “technology.” Woooo!
If you’d like to join the gravatar fun by having a gravatar icon appear next to your comments on this blog, sign up for a free account, and let us see how you roll — gravatarly speaking.

Just checking to see if my image shows up
Very cool!!
I signed up with Gravatar earlier this week. I have to admit that I tend to pay more attention to comments that have Gravatars beside them. It’s sort of an “Ooh, shiny!” reaction, I think.
testing, testing, 1, 2, 3…
I’m happy to be a part of Compassion! The gravatar will be a good thing to have!
Very cool. I’ve been wondering how to do this.
Just testing . . .
I am still getting mine set up but I had been wondering how it was done. Thanks!
Checking my avatar.
So, am I right in thinking that the gravitars will not automatically show up on old posts?
never mind
Just checking to see if it works
Hopefully I did the gravatar correct
does this work
Just checking
Kind of curious if it works. Does it work retroactively too? I.e. will the image show up on my old posts?
Yay I just made mine!
any gravatar default packages out there?
Just got my gravatar and am checking to see if it works. It has not worked on a couple other blogs I have commented on.
