Good to know. In the Dominican Republic, last month, our dear Wess Stafford said something about how Compassion's partner countries are doing so well that . . . I'm fuzzy, here . . . they are able to compensate for any lack of growth, or any downward slide in Compassion-USA. Does anyone else who was there remember more clearly what he said?

Thanks for updating us. Though, I do wish I could have been there to hear it all for myself and on behalf of my little ones.

I'm glad you aren't/we aren't going into frenetic mode. We serve a God who is anything but frenetic. From the time he planted the garden he knew about the cross and planned it over hundreds of years. Even today, he has been planning -- that some child might give their life to Jesus, or someone decide to be a sponsor or someone step in to help a neighbor in need. God is not frenetic so we shoudn't be either.

Thanks for updating us on the QMU, and also on the meaning of the word "frenetic." I'll try to find a way to use it today.
