Meet Brianne Mullins. She’s 24 today … and really struggling with that.
That’s why she’s hiding behind Jerome the Birthday Gnome.
She’s also the newest Webbie. Hired today. Starts August 25. Sounds like a good birthday present TO us. Wonder what she’s getting.

Happy Birthday, Brianne, and congrats on the new job with Compassion!
Is Jerome the Birthday Gnome some kind of wacky Compassion tradition? I have a gnome in my garden — should I bring it along to hang out with Jerome when I show up for the Compassion tour? We haven’t NAMED him or anything…
happy birthday, Brianne!
come out from behind that thing, so we can see you.
Happy birthday beautiful! And congratulations! This is huge! Praise the Lord!
Happy Birthday and don’t let everybody pick on you b/c you’re struggling with such a young birthday. 23 and 28 were the toughest for me. Oddly enough, 30 was a breeze.
Oh, you poor thing … working with these guys! You’ve got quite an challenge ahead of you…
It’s only a number, sweetie.
Happy Birthday!
Lisa – thank you so much!
Oh yes, gnome’s are not just for gardens these days. They are in high demand for such events as these:) My best friend, who actually works at Compassion, gave Jerome to me for my birthday as a joke. Mr. Chris Giovagnoni required that I carry him around with me all day!
Thanks everyone for the kind words! I am more than blessed to be considered a webbie!! When God gives gifts, He gives big
Brianne! I’m so happy for you! Happy birthday and congratulations! Can’t wait to read more about your official position of saving children from poverty & hunger in the Name of Jesus!
oh, and i want to see some more of your stuff up on your blogspot! (please)
HIS servant
Bri – congrats on the job! So excited for you!!! And don’t worry, I’ll be 26 in a month and that’s WAY older than 24
I love you Brianne!! I am so happy for you. You got talent kid…I can’t wait to start reading your work for Compassion!!
Happy Birthday. That’s great that you will be working with Compassion. We won’t say how old I will be in December but “4″ figures in prominently!
Many blessings
That’s my girl!! Taking another year in stride…proud of you!!
Ah yes, I remember 24…I now have underwear older than that.
Click your heels 3 times and repeat after me, “There’s no place like gnome.”
(Now that’s journalism, or should I say bloggalism)
Happy Birthday! What a gift for your big day — a brand new job at a great organization. Welcome to th team. (Can I say that, even though I’m not an employee?)
welcome!
congratulations!!! have an awesome birthday!!
happy b-day, too bad i cant punch you 24 times since you know, you hit me and all
Warm Greetings from Korea!
Happy birthday, Brianne and welcome on board! =)
Oh the memories…Brianne…When I get back stateside in a few short months, we have to get together for laughs with your sister…wow, how I miss you girls!
Congrats, and I look forward to reading your work!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday, congratulations, and…26 was my first “difficult” birthday. I was, after all, more than 1/4 of a century old!
Sigh. Now, I’ll be in the “6′s” for a few more years. (No, that’s not a typo’.)
Anyway, congratulations, again, on your great job, and welcome!
Vicki, I thought the same when I was turning 26! Completely & utterly unprepared for the fact that I was over a quarter of a century old!!!! Quite a milestone for some of the younger folks, I’m sure
Live it up, Brianne!
Ok, I am officially 24 and 1 day and I think I can handle this. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement!
I knew that God loves to give big, but I mean He really gave big this year – I am so honored to serve Compassion as a webbie!
Vicki and Irene I think I might need your assistance when I turn 26…
Kelly!!! I loved how you welcomed me to the team even though you don’t work here – haha! I’m feeling the love:)
Give me a holler, when you turn 26, Briana; if we’re both lucky, I won’t be too senile, by then!
