Amigos!!! Thanks for sharing about your trip!!! I learn so much from the blog. I didn’t know Compassion partnered with Healing Waters. I had never heard of Healing Waters.

I Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for YOU!!!”

I went along with Healing Waters on a trip much like the one on this video. We travelled to some of the poorest communities of the Dominican Republic. Healing Waters has found that the churches they must work with are the ones with strong leadership, and a desire to reach out to their community… the same kind of churches that Compassion works with.

The HW staff was amazing! We spent a lot of time visiting water projects, that are also Compassion Development Centers. We also spent a lot of time laughing!

I made my travel arrangements so that I could visit the children we sponsor in the Dominican Republic. After 4 days, the Healing Waters staff safely handed me off to the Compassion Staff. It was one of the most memorable weeks of my life!

If you have a chance to go see Healing Waters at work, you should go!

I also saw a little of the Healing Waters ministry in partnership with Compassion in the Dominican Republic. Really outstanding! Thanks for the great video.
