Vikki, if you go to youtube and view the video there is something right there on the page that says “embed”. Copy that code into a blog post (in html mode) if you want the video in a blog post.
If you want it on your sidebar, use an html widget provided by your blog host. Copy the code into it and you should get a video screen. You might have to adjust the object width and height to make it fit in your sidebar. HTH
