Greetings in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.Actually it’s joy to find out that you are serving the LORD right from what I read from your website on the internet. And I am pleased with the good job that your ministry is doing and I really love to be amongst you mostly in prayers and in ministering together.Pray for the Lord’s ministry down here in KENYA that GOD will empower us and provide resources for us to get out to reach to many out here who have not received Him as their LORD and savior for we as Christians are convinced that only agreed upon prayers bring forth breakthroughs.Finally doors are open for you and your ministry to come and minister to us and start your ministry here in KENYA. @Greg Pickett - Mr. Pickett, Thank you for this information. I'm thrilled with the partnership between HWI and Compassion. Just knowing that whole communities are becoming healthier as a result of having access to clean water gives me goosebumps! And I love the fact that this water is offered by the same folks who represent the One who gives us Living Water! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dear Mrs. Small, Thank you so much for your question. The Compassion partnership with Healing Waters includes the DR, Guatemala, and Mexico. In the DR there are 12 HWI water purification projects co-located with Compassion Child Development Centers. In Guatemala there are six. In Mexico there is currently one, but we will be opening a second location that will serve four more Compassion sites in the summer of 2009. These 19 partner projects have provided over 20 million gallons to their communities. It is so refreshing to read these stories about the difference God’s people can make. I especially enjoy hearing about things in DR because that is where our sponsor child lives. Thank you Compassion International!

What I would like to know, now, is how widespread this partnership is between Compassion and HWI. Is it limited (for now) to the two projects in DR, or does it extend much farther, even to other countries and regions?

We take water for granted here, but I can only imagine the joy the people in these communities feel when they are able to drink clean, safe water!

I wonder if Jesus visited a Healing Waters center if he would say if you drink this water you will continue to be thirsty!!!

I remember the Compassion + Healing Waters project in the DR–what a blessing from God it was to the children and the community.
