I’ve been to Kenya twice and both times I was honored to spend time working with and helping the Maasai. They are such a fascinating people and they cling to the old ways. It is vital for their survival to link the old with the new. It would be a horrible waste if the traditions of the Maasai were allowed to die out, yet they must embrace the modern world. It is a balancing act.

Amen Chris it is indeed a balancing act and one Compassion is committed to. I think working through the local church in Maasai land is crucial to keeping their cultural roots intact. Thanks for watching.
