Loved seeing this…what an encouragement to see who is being sent out into the world! My oldest sponsored child graduated last year and is now teaching and starting to transform his community in TZ. I don’t think he is aware of an alumni group, though. Where could he (or I) get more information?
Hi Stephanie! We’ve only just begun encouraging alumni groups in each of our countries. Some of our countries have very active alumni associations while others do not. I’d say that it doesn’t hurt to encourage your former sponsored child to reach out to his former student center and ask them if they have an alumni association his country. They will probably be able to direct him to an association if there is one.
