Thanks for adding these videos in small vignettes for us to absorb! Their perspectives are interesting. I had never thought about how some people living in poverty, who attain positions of power, would resent their past and want to abuse that power to obtain anything their heart desires materially.
I just can’t express enough how amazing these 4 students are. I don’t know if I could have the same attitude if I grew up in the same situation.

These are really good answers to the question. It’s something I’ve thought about a lot. I understand now that coming out of poverty can lead you either into resentment or into gratefulness. It’s the same with so many other topics — prejudice, abuse, lack of jobs. May God always keep us on the side of thanksgiving, praise, gratefulness — no matter what trials He has brought us through! There’s a lot to think about here. Thank you so much.
It was great to hear such encouraging conversation. I loved hearing Jimmy’s take on the “businessman” not investing on the best deal he will ever get. And Michelle talking about letting go of ALL resentment. Good lesson for me.
