And the answer is ... 90%. Ninety percent of those who die from malaria are African children. Through our Malaria Intervention Fund, Compassion-assisted children have access to insecticide-treated mosquito nets and malaria prevention education, and those struggling with the disease have access to malaria medical treatment. The answer is 90%.

Let’s see…so that’d be 900,000 children in Africa dying of malaria every year. The remaining 100,000 would be distributed among the adults in Africa, and Asia, Central and South America combined.
