Tomorrow morning we’ll publish the answer in the comment section of this post AND right here, like this.
The answer to yesterday’s question is 41 percent.
Forty-one percent of the world’s people live in areas where malaria is transmitted, including parts of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Central and South America, Hispaniola and Oceania.

I’m gonna say 50%
The answer is 90%.
Let’s see…so that’d be 900,000 children in Africa dying of malaria every year. The remaining 100,000 would be distributed among the adults in Africa, and Asia, Central and South America combined.
Kinda disproportionate?
56% is my guess
Judith is correct: 90%.
Stats like this continue to shock me.
I have a great idea to drive traffic from reader’s blogs to Compassion. Do up a blog post compling a list of some of the most surprising stats featured by the web team.
Maybe I’ll do smtg like that tml…
90% – that one smacked me in the face…we should be so thankful for our blessings…
And the answer is …
90%.
Ninety percent of those who die from malaria are African children.
Through our Malaria Intervention Fund, Compassion-assisted children have access to insecticide-treated mosquito nets and malaria prevention education, and those struggling with the disease have access to malaria medical treatment.
