This is a wonderful post! Thanks so much for sharing — photos and all. It’s so amazing to hear this from the child’s point of view. It really touches my heart, because I just witnessed hundreds of sponsors and children coming together to meet in the Dominican Republic. This is really outstanding.

i am praying that i have the opportunity someday to visit our two compassion children…to encourage them in the way that a face-to-face visit can.

I always love to read the stories of sponsors who meet their children face to face. Writing to my children and receiving letters from them is alway a great time for me however I pray to see my children from Brazil face to face. It would be a dream come true. I can see how it would take the relationship between the child and the sponsor to I higher place. I pray to have that experience. I’m happy for you Bevan and Mistaff.
