This photo was taken in Burkina Faso by scfish7 at one of our child development centers. He uploaded it to our Flickr group a while back.
Got a caption for it?

“Along the wall outside the Compassion project, many children watched and waited while the other children played and sang. With hundreds and thousands of children needing the hope that Compassion brings, our hearts broke to see the ones that could not be helped. Hundreds more are waiting for their chance to be sponsored, to be given hope, to be shown the love of Christ.” – scfish7

“What about me?”
“Now you know”
That must be faith testing to have to wait for a sponsor or to even be registered! I saw a short video of a couple that visited Burkina Faso a few months back and they visited a Compassion project there. It’s amazing to me how many kids are at a single project and how there are so many projects like 4000 as far as I understand and still many more kids could be registered and sponsored!!!!!!!
Enough already, can I go play now?
Who are you?
How about something simple…
Waiting
Can you take one more?
“Is there hope…for me?”
“I’m still waiting.”
“Voici – I’m Here”
When is my turn?
Is it my turn yet?
“Behind: a history of dust and brokenness. Ahead: ?”
“I am a child of God, too.”
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?“
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
(Isaiah 6:8, ESV)
Jesus believes in me, do you believe in Jesus?
“Is there room for me?”
Will you be my family?
“Can I play too?”
who will sponsor me?
Does ANYBODY want…me?
Can ANYONE help.. me? I want a godmother too!
I want some help too!
Can I come play too?
“Waiting for you.”
“Will someone sponsor me?”
“Are you ‘The One’”?
“Have you come to sponsor me?”
“At last–someone to sponsor me!”
Like any of these?
ordinary will make me EXTRAORDINARY
I agree with Judith.
“What about me?”
Does anyone need just one little boy?
Can I be next?
I like these.
“Does anyone care about me?”
“Anyone wanna sponsor me?”
“Will YOU sponsor me?”
These are all my phrases. You can use them. ~Rachel
He seems to be walking, waiting by himself. How about “Come, walk with me . . . .”
If you’ll help change MY life, I’ll help change YOURS.
When does my turn come?
The caption that comes to mind when I look at this precious little boy is….. I NEED YOU!
Yes I can!!!!!
Thank you Sponsor.
