Thanks for your blog, it seems it’s inspiring a lot of people. I think it’s very important to think how fortunate we are everytime we eat and it’s also very good to think about how many people actually made it possible for us to have a plate on the table. By thinking this way, we apreciate more what we have and we are more aware of how we are all interconnected based on that truth we make better decisions cause we take into account how our acts are going to affect other beings, even animals!!! I think it’s the lack of this mind that creates this situation of poverty in the world

Thank you everyone for the compliments. When I look at her helping me with this, I think of how it’s my responsibility to teach her that poverty exists and that we are commanded to help, but more than that-that we help them because we love them.

These hands-although small now-will be the hands that will help other children and their families.

I continue to pray that our little ones will understand and make a stand more than what we do.

Thank you for the great post Brianne! I typically end up blogging more about the Global Food Crisis more than any of the ways to be involved in Compassion. Not necessarily on purpose-just happens that way.
