So glad to hear your story Sean. The India trip you lead that I participated in was one of the highlights of my life so far! So good to hear your voice. :)

I would have loved to see the looks on those kids' faces when they saw the playground for the first time.

SEAN!!! As I'm reading through blogs, I saw your picture and said, "I KNOW him." Well, at least met you and got to know you a little on the Guatemalan Compassion Sponsor tour. Seeing my homeland for the first time since I was born there and then meeting my child was one of the most blessed times I've had. Even though my child is no longer in the program (left on his own), I still sponsor a child, only now in Rwanda. But it's so good to see how you are doing and what a great time you had helping the kids have a safe and fun place to play. Nice to hear your voice again.

I'm glad to see Compassion highlighting how they do not only focus on giving the children an education and food. Their holistic approach to meeting all the needs of children provides huge dividends. Not only are playgrounds full of unending fun, they also give the children a place to be physically active in a safe environment. Thanks for letting us know about this effort!

On another note, I really enjoy the audio blogs of people talking about Compassion as you get much more emotion than you can convey in text. However, the super long blogs (A day in the life of ...) are nicer to have in text so I can stop and start reading them as time permits.
