Ministry Highlight: Kenya
We began our ministry in Kenya in 1980, with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2001, we started the Leadership Development Program began, and the Child Survival Program followed in 2004.

We began our ministry in Colombia in 1974 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2005, we started the Leadership Development Program.

We began our ministry in Uganda in 1980 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 1999, we started the Leadership Development Program the Child Survival Program followed in 2006

We began our ministry in Rwanda in 1980 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2008, we started the Leadership Development Program, and the Child Survival Program followed in 2010.
Ministry Highlight: Dominican Republic
We began our ministry in the Dominican Republic in 1970 as a relief program donating food, medicine and money for children selected by the local churches. In 1994, we started our Child Sponsorship Program.

We began our ministry in India in 1997 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2003, we started the Child Survival Program, and the Leadership Development Program followed in 2004.

We began our ministry in East India in 2002 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2006, the Child Survival Program began, and the Leadership Development Program followed in 2009.
Ministry Highlight: Tanzania
In just over 11 years, Compassion Tanzania now works with 236 Implementing Church Partners in 12 regions of the country. We have been growing at an average of 30 percent per year and currently serve almost 64,000 children.

We began our ministry in Bolivia in 1975 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 1998, the Leadership Development Program started, and in 2008, the Child Survival Program.

In 1993 we began our ministry in Ethiopia with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2004 we started the Leadership Development Program and in 2006 the Child Survival Program.

We began our ministry in the Philippines in 1972 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 1996, we started the Leadership Development Program and in 2005, the Child Survival Program.
Ministry Highlight: Nicaragua
We began our ministry in Nicaragua in 2002, when the Child Sponsorship Program was started. In just seven years of ministry, we have served over 30,000 children in Nicaragua.
Ministry Highlight: Guatemala
We began our ministry in Guatemala in 1976 as a family help program run by missionaries. The Child Sponsorship Program started in 1980, and the Leadership Development Program began in 1997.
Ministry Highlight: Honduras
We first began our ministry in Honduras in 1974 when child development centers were opened in Guatemala and El Salvador. Today the ministry in Honduras is made up of 175 child development centers and approximately 41,000 children are registered.

We began our ministry in Ecuador in 1974, with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2002, we started the Leadership Development Program and in 2006, the Child Survival Program.
Ministry Highlight: Bangladesh
Compassion began its ministry in Bangladesh in June 2004 with the Child Sponsorship Program, and the Child Survival Program began in 2010. The year 2010 also marked five years of ministry in Bangladesh as well as registration of the 15,000th child.

Compassion began its ministry in Indonesia in 1968 with the Child Sponsorship Program. We started the Leadership Development Program in 2005 and the Child Survival Program in 2009.

We began our ministry in East Indonesia in 2005, with the Child Sponsorship Program and in 2006, we started the Child Survival Program.
Ministry Highlight: Haiti
We began our ministry in Haiti in 1968 with the Child Sponsorship Program and in 2008, we celebrated our 40th anniversary in Haiti.

We began our ministry in Brazil in 1987 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2007, we started the Leadership Development Program.
Ministry Highlight: Mexico
We began our ministry in Mexico in 1980 with the Child Sponsorship Program. Through the years, we have moved into highly impoverished areas to help children in need. But poverty continues to impact the country severely.
Ministry Highlight: Togo
We began our ministry in Togo in 2009 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In just under two years we have registered more than 4,300 children and we partner with 20 Implementing Church Partners.
Ministry Highlight: Peru
Compassion began its ministry in Peru in 1985, when the Child Sponsorship Program was started. In 2003, both the Child Survival Program and the Leadership Development program began.
Ministry Highlight: El Salvador
Our ministry in El Salvador started in 1977 with the Child Sponsorship Program. In 2009, we implemented both the Child Survival and Leadership Development programs.
Ministry Highlight: Thailand
We began our ministry in Thailand in 1970, when the Child Sponsorship Program was started. After 40 years of ministry in Thailand, our ministry is now well known by the majority of evangelical churches in the country.
