Please do not let the pre-technology methods of communication fall by the wayside. I would hate to lose the option of old-fashioned letter writing. I fear that too much technology in these developing countries will take the focus off books and education (as I’ve sadly noted among American Christian youth.) These at-risk children need Christian focus and education NOT distractions of the “modern” world. Social media, I discern, has the potential of doing harm to these most vulnerable brethren.

However (should have included this with previous comment), use of the internet and social media between staff and sponsors could speed up routine matters as well as increase awareness about the ongoing need of God’s children.
