Sharing God has been the best thing out of all five of our sponsorships.

I love that Emily's mother wrote to tell us that she has the photos of my children all over the walls of her home so that she can introduce "her family" to everyone who enters their home... without realizing that Emily's photos are also all over our home, so that we can introduce "our family" to all who enter our home... We are mothers who share in each other's families, we are sisters in Christ, we are joined by God through Compassion.

The best thing my sponsored child has shared with me is her affection & faith. It amazes me that from poverty such a lovely person blossoms: Hallelujah!

When I got my last letter from Anderson. It was written around Christmas so it was pre-quake. He told me his mother was expecting a second child later this year. I know he is safe, but I can't wait to get my first post-quake letter to see it in his own words.

Lupita in Mexico (her last letter to me) - Please help other poor children like you helped me.

Isaias in Honduras - Receive many hugs and kissed from the distance.

Kajal in Bangladesh - I want to be a doctor, because I want to serve the poor.

Tuyizere in Rwanda - I dedicate Romans 8:31 to you. I love to pray.

Dave I love your answers amigo!!! I agree with Dave but have 3 more also.

I would have to say 3 things so far

1) Osmari letting me run as fast as I can with her on my shoulders

2) a letter saying "What is the biggest blessing you have received from God? Mine is having you as my sponsor."

3) Having Angelo in the Philippines tell me he wants to be a basketball player so now I have committed to dunk a basketball for him with two hands when I visit in June...I have about 7-12 inches still to go!!! PRAY FOR ME!!!
