Tomorrow, June 4, at 9 a.m. MDT, you can watch a live video feed of a Leadership Development Program graduation ceremony in Bolivia.
These are young people who grew up in poverty, were sponsored as little children and have overcome tremendous obstacles. They were enrolled in the Leadership Development Program, which enabled them to attend a university and receive intensive Christian leadership training.
Now they are graduating. And we thought you might like to watch.

That’s so cool. I will be watching and celebrating what God has done in the lives of these students. If I were present, I would be clapping and hugging all of these students on behalf of their families and sponsor families.
Dear Bolivia LDP students: May Christ bless you and continue transform you into a living testimony to His awesome power and love. Please know that your families, Compassion sponsors, and your family in Christ are so proud of you and are encouraged by all that you have done. Thank you for allowing Christ to work in you and to be a blessing to your communities – what a big step of faith and commitment. You are a blessing to all of us who will watch your successful walk across the stage. Be encouraged, have faith and be strong in Christ! Shine for Jesus – you all rock! ~ Beth
Congratulations to the Bolivia graduates and sending prayers their way. This looks like a group that is ready to go out and do great things in the world!
I went looking for some good Bible verses for graduates and I found these two:
Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’S purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
I can’t wait to see what God has planned for these young people!
This was a wonderful thing to watch although sometimes it was difficult to hear very well. Does anyone know if there will be a way to watch a video of it? I’d like to see it again.
I’m told Compassion Bolivia was going to record the ceremony. Assuming that went off with out a hitch, we’ll be uploading a video of the ceremony on YouTube. I’m not sure as to when I may get the video. Hopefully, early next week.
We also loved being able to watch this beautiful graduation. The video feed was rather fuzzy for us, and it was difficult to hear parts of it. Also, our access to it cut off before the last student’s diploma was presented. We’d love to hear when it will be available on YouTube! Thanks so, so much!!! You really brightened our day!!!
we really thank Almighty God for the better opportunity he lend we congratulate our brothers and that is our dream in Rwanda for future leaders
