Luke 11:5 Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6 because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.'

7 "Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.' 8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

"...whatever you wish..."

Excellent post.

I have 2 Compassion kids in Kenya (that I was blessed to visit in Nov '06), plus 3 from different programs. They all tell me how hard it is now.

To sara:

Thanks alot for that compliment and blessing. I just wish we interacted coz you guys were so many and all of you looked the same to me, so its really had to remember your faces.

But all in all I am glad to have met you and I pray that God continue to move in a special way in your life the same way you were special to us.

And remember you are always welcome back.

God bless.

Anthony,
I was a part of the US group, yes. I went to Muchakos, but I remember seeing you before and after the camps. You really stood out as a leader. I pray that God will fulfill the dreams he has put in your heart.

Hi everyone,

Good to be back.

Now to reply to your comments:

To:

1. Sara:
I couldn't agree more. Thats what we need right now; Christians who are not afraid to know Christ and to make him know.

2. Kees Boer:
Amen to that.

3. Compassion dave:
Be assured by the fact that starting to day I together with other friends of mine we will be praying for you and all these events and we are trusting God for an upheaval..

4. Vicki Small:
Amen Vicki, Amen. Indeed theres nothing impossible for our God.

5. Sara:
Hi there Sara,

Were you with the mission group that came from US? Which area did u go to?

As for the marathon, thats just one sign that you are a Kenyan considering that Kenyans are famous for running the marathon. Great Job.

And yes I was part of the LDP June work camp and the group that went to Mutomo.

6. Poor child - Africa:
Thanks a lot and you too are doing a great job. Thanks for the comment.

7: Juli Jarvis:
All the credit goes to Chris.

Thanks again for all your comments and time to read the post. God bless.
