500 children sponsored in the last three days. 95.1 WRBS in Baltimore, MD is wrapping up a three day sponsorship marathon with a goal of 1,000 children sponsored, which may seem impossible since the campaign ends today, but two years ago WRBS listeners sponsored 521 kids in the last 6 hours of their campaign. It can still be done!
Over the six years that WRBS has partnered with Compassion and helped find sponsors for children in poverty, more than 6,000 children have been sponsored.

WOW–this is awesome! I saw 10 kids sponsored in a church I spoke in last weekend, and was thrilled. I can’t imagine signing up 500! Fantastic!

95.1 WRBS is my hometown station and I normally listen to them during my workday commute. They do a great job promoting Compassion, and not just for 3 days but occasionally mentioning them throughout the whole year. The DJ’s have shared stories of their own Compassion trips. Thank you WRBS and their listeners who’ve become sponsors.

That is great! Just imagine, every child reaches about 30 others, so that’s about 24,000 people reached, or 1/3 of a stadium!!!!
