A New Way to Give More to Your Sponsored Child

Did you know this year we are celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Compassion Bloggers Network?

Happy anniversary!

When we launched the network, we had a vision to bring bloggers and the mission of Compassion together to release more children from poverty.

You took that idea and exceeded our expectations. You started using your voice on your blog to help children in poverty.

You dreamed with us. You followed our blog trips. You prayed. And you gave us ideas.

You are why we get to celebrate five years. We couldn’t be more thankful.

I’ve been keeping a running list of suggestions for improving the network, and one idea keeps popping up.

“Can I track how many sponsorships come through my blog?”

That’s a great idea! And as a little thank-you for getting us to where we are today, we want to take that a step further.

Introducing the Compassion Bloggers Rewards Program.

You now have the ability to sign up for your very own tracking code. You can request it at compassionbloggers.com.

A few days after you request your tracking code, we’ll send an email explaining how to use the magic number it contains. You’ll be able to use the tracking code on your blog, in your posts, banners and widgets, on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.

You’ll finally be able to track how many children you help release from poverty.

What about that extra little step we took? Well, this is a rewards program, isn’t it?

Beginning today through June 30, 2014, if you are a member of the Compassion Bloggers Network and you participate in at least three blogging assignments, you will be eligible for the rewards.

Be sure to read the complete rules, to make sure you know all of the ins and outs of how to earn gifts for your sponsored child’s family.

• For each sponsorship credited to your Reward Program tracking code, your sponsored child’s family will receive a family gift.
• Each of the first 10 sponsorships earns your sponsored child’s family a $25 family gift.
• Each of the sponsorships between 11 and 25 earns your child’s family a $50 family gift.
