We all need prayer. Some days more than others. So what if today, on the National Day of Prayer, we pray for one another?
James 5:16 says,
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Now, we’re not saying that you spill your guts and share your sins with us on the blog. Some things are too personal to share online. But please take a moment and share your prayer requests with us.

Please pray for my cousin’s son, David Breidenbach. He is 43 years old and dying of cancer. We’ve been told he has only weeks to live. Please pray for his peace and to take all his pain away. And if it be His will, take the cancer away. Also, pray for his parents, Bob and Pat Breidenbach.
Please pray for my grandson, Brayden, who has ADHD. He has to be on medication, which affects a lot of things. I ask that you pray for God’s healing of this, so that he no longer has to take medication.
Marlys, I just said a prayer for your grandson. I know that ADHD medication can really affect sleeping schedules and moods. Praying for Brayden that he will be healed.

my mother Anita has thyroid cancer, 3 weeks ago she did a surgery and a half of her thyroid taken out and a large tumor. she has a very thin vocal cord towards other people and now her vocal cord which affected her voice is half paralyzed. but now it is suffering not done, this Friday 28 june should they again do an operation, the other half thyroid should too. We are very concerned and the doctor also because the chance that she would never be able to speak of the rest of her life with a terrible voice should life.For cancer later she gets another 4 days chemo therapy. It’s hard for me to pray with great faith I struggle with my disappointments of the past but will try anyway. But do you want to join together to pray for her? Want to help them pray? that the operation should go, her voice full recovery, in general, a good recovery and strength, as it has many angst.mischien they are people in your church a prayer team good? i hope you people can help me in this struggle.please pray. greetings from belgium Andy

My name is Jeff Brothers we all know what I hope, wealth and of course happiness . We also know that for every positive scripture there is a counter balance ! This is not a contradiction , but rather a confirmation that truly Father God is in Control. My prayer request in this letter is simple! Show us your truth and manifest your will in our lives! One of the greatest people ever are moving from my church in PA all the way to TX. She’s the children’s church director and the greatest inspiration and example to me. She used to teach the Jr. High class and she definitely obeyed God while she was here by teaching the youth and helping us all become leaders. I’m gonna miss her but I know God is working out something so much greater. I’m thankful for all she’s done. So if you could just pray for my peace, and her peace since she’s leaving so many people we all love. <3

Please pray for my work situation. I am at a young ministry and have been pouring my heart into our work for the Lord the past 2+yrs. due to the growth, our board formed a new position and hired “over” me. The transition has been very difficult as the new manager is disatisfied in all i do and is pushing me aside. The board made several commitments to me prior to hiring and is not honoring them. I am praying through whether to resign or not and haven’t felt peace about going or staying. I’m distraught, hurt, and weary.

Well, I’m just a beginning high schooler loving life, sponsoring a Conpassion child, and trying to serve Jesus in all I do! One prayer for me would be my future in general: whether to pursue college or not, what my career should be, should I continue sports next year or commit fully to becoming a better pianist (8+ years!), etc. Speaking of which, my music academy’s spring showcase is in One. I have RA and have started a new drug regime, and the medicine has really taken it out of me today. I have a precious four year old to care for. I pray this new medicine works and my body is healed as well as the side effects subside so I can concentrate on what matters most.

Please pray for my brother in law who is currently homeless and addicted to drugs. Pray that Jesus would break the chains of addiction and save his soul. Also for protection while he is out on the streets.
Please pray for my daughter Laura whose husband lost his job a year ago and can’t find another because of his age and health. She is in foreclosure and feels that God is laughing at her because of past sins, even though she has repented.
My aunt who has another knee operation tonight to fix complications from a broken kneecap. It’s her fourth knee surgery on that knee in the last 20 months (second in last 2 weeks), and she has multiple health issues that have been complicating her recovery.

Jer. 31:33 is my prayer, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God and they shall be My people.” Today, may your people know you are their God and they are co-heirs with Christ and are called “My people.”

My name is Marlena. I’m 26 yrs old and I’m pregnant! Me and my husband have a little girl but this is our 4th pregnancy we have had two miscarriages- the last one I was 3 months along that I found out at an ultrasound we lost it. I’m 8 weeks and nervous but getting excited. I have my first ultrasound today so I’m scared nervous and excited. I would like prayer over this baby’s safety. And if I could ask prayer over the pregnancy screening and blood work done yestday to come back great too I’d be so great full. I know our God is a big God and I’m trusting in him!
