My sponsored child’s favorite Bible verses are . . .
Musee from Kenya likes Col 3:20 “Children obey your parents in all things for this pleases the Lord.” This made my five year old excited because that was her memory verse for the week!
Joan from Uganda hasn’t told me hers yet…
Melissa from Peru likes Psalm 4:3 “Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord will hear when I call to him.”
Thayane from Brazil likes Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
Ura from East India likes Psalm 23. Lyd from the Philippines likes 1 John 4:8. I know Pyrah, also from the Philippines, told me hers, but I’ve gotten about 40 letters from her in the past 3 years. I just don’t have time to go back and look for her verse right now! Rebecca, Keyla, Briceyda, and Abidisa haven’t told me theirs yet.
Joy from the Philippines likes John 3:15 “For God so loved the world He gave His only Son.”
Alix from Haiti likes Romans 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?”
Evalyne from Uganda and Jeyabharathi from India have not shared their favorite verses. I just started sponsoring Cristhian from Honduras and Mugwaneza from Rwanda and haven’t received my first letter from them. I sent all of them my favorite verse Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me,” and asked them what theirs are.
I’m a new sponsor to Wilson in Ecuador and Karla in El Salvador and I can’t wait to find out about their favorite verses!
Excellent question when I visit I will ask b/c in the letters they have not said their favorite just ones they are learning and or like. So when I get back from the Philippines hopefully I will have an answer but I will probably forget to ask!!! Hopefully I will not!!! But for now I will share my favorite bible verse b/c I do not know their favorite bible verses!!! I should ask!!! Here is mine II Corinthians 12:8-10 “Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me, but He said to me my grace is sufficient for YOU!!! For my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore; I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why for Christ’s sake I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties for when I am weak then I am strong!!!”
