After I became part of the Sponsorship Service Team, God put something on my heart when I read 1 Thessalonians 1.
Just as Paul was filled with great love for the Thessalonian church, it’s been on my heart to pray that each and every sponsor would be filled with that kind of love for the children they sponsor, and that the children would be able to live a life of victory as the Thessalonian church did.
I envision a beautiful child, chosen by God, persevering in hope in Him despite the difficulties in life. And as this child starts to become more like Jesus, being led by the Holy Spirit, this testimony would soon reach the ears and the heart of the child’s sponsor. Then the sponsor’s heart would be so deeply touched that a desire is cultivated to pray even more fervently for the child.
I am thankful and amazed that a sponsor and a child, writing a simple letter, could make such a great impact on one another.
We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. — 1 Thessalonians 1:2–3, NIV
Prayer: We pray that our sponsors will have a heart for their children just as Paul had for the Thessalonian church.

Amen, I want to LIVE A LIFE OF VICTORY also!
Revelation 2:7
Amplified Bible (AMP)
7 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
