Flashcards are cards that have pictures, words, numbers, math problems, etc. on them to help young children learn.
…by writing and telling them that we love them!
…by praying for them and their families.
…reminding him that our family prays for him daily. He is special to us and Jesus.
Heather,
Thank you for your post. When I was in Bolivia, one of the main questions that the children would ask me, especially some of the older ones is if I could teach them English. So, I’ve been writing English lessons for them. I think they are good for the 12 years old and above, but I’m not sure what to do with the smaller children. Would you tell me more about “flashcards,” what they are and how can I get them?
Thank you so much!
Kees
I share love with my sponsored children by praying for them, their family, and their country.
I share love with my sponsored children by answering their questions even if there is a time delay and writing and sending any small flat object I can think of.
I share love with other sponsored children by sharing about my children on my blog. One person actually left me a note that they decided to sponsor a child because of what I shared.
I share love with my sponsored children by telling them about my life with Jesus.
I share love with my sponsored child by….
Telling them frequently in my letters and sending stickers, photos, postcards, and anything else I can think of. I also make sure to answer any questions that they have and encourage them in their dreams.
I can sketch fairly well, so I just finished sketching my sponsored child’s photo and sending it to her with a few verses from Psalm 139 in Spanish. I told her how I was thinking about her the whole time I was drawing it.
… writing, praying, and paying!
I share love by sending fun things like postcards, girly stickers and now that shes in kindergarten Im going to send her flashcards with numbers-pictures and a little bit of English on them!
I share love with my sponsored child by … writing to her and telling her how much we, and God love her. I tell her that we pray for her, and ask her about her life and how she is doing.
I hope that conveys what we feel!
I share love with my sponsored children by… writing twice a month. I respond to things she tells me about her life with praise and support, and share what is going on in my family’s life to show her she’s a part of our family now too.
I share love with my sponsored children by…writing on a regular basis and telling them that I love them and I tell them that God loves them. Then I’ll offer words of encouragement to let them know that they are important and appreciated.
