I love GetSatisfaction! It has been so helpful, and I do not feel like I am bugging anyone by calling or e-mailing the office directly. Thanks sooo much 🙂
I would like to know how long it takes to translate an online letter and send one back.
It takes about the same amount of time as a hand-written letter- 4-6 months. Approximately 2-3 months for your letter to be translated and received by your sponsored child and 2-3 months for them to reply to your letter, translate it, and for it to arrive in your mailbox.
Can you teach me how to insert a Compassion Bidget or banner on my facebook page. I know that there are tons of them on the website to use, but how do you actually insert in on the page?
Unfortunately Sheri, Facebook doesn’t allow widgets or banners to be inserted on their pages. They used to but no longer.
Thanks, Jacquie.
On ourcompassion.org when it gives me a blog notification and I click through to the notifications it gives me a list of blogs. But when I click on one of those blogs it kicks me back to my homepage. Please fix!
I’m sorry you’re having issues on OurCompassion with reading blogs! Would you mind reporting this by using the “contact us” link at the bottom of your OurCompassion page? This will ensure that the issue is sent to the correct person.
I don’t know my password for OurCompassion, when I first went there, I was already signed in, and ever since I have already been signed in, but today it asked for my username and my password. what do I need to do?
Hi gottabigheart! I passed this along. Someone will be emailing you soon with your OurCompassion login information. -Susan

Thanks! But I guess Lindy beat me to it. 🙂 Of course, we both commented before you all got to work. 🙂
What happens to my sponsored child when he is too old for compassion? Is he equiped for a job or vocation?
Yes. Part of the sponsorship program is providing children vocational training.
If you do a search on the word vocational you’ll see the posts that mention vocational training.
You may also be interested in this content that talks about what happens after a child leaves or graduates from our program.

Sounds cool, but is it up and running? If so, is there a link? I can’t find it on the main website…

Please help! The “Get Answers” tab in this Blog entry is not clickable for me right now. How do I get to the new online community for customer support? I really want to ask why the Crisis Updates on the CI website stopped after August 23rd. I miss being able to pray for those situations, especially when they occur in areas where we have sponsored children!
Sorry Lindy. I repaired the link. It’s working now. You can also get there by going to support.compassion.com.
