Free Scrap Book for Blogging About Compassion

Compassion scrapbookDid you know that February is Compassion Blog Month? We’re encouraging you to blog about your Compassion experience and link to compassion.com. If you do, we’ll send the first 500 people who sign up a free Compassion scrapbook!

My prayer is that we will have more than 500 people adding a link from their blog, MySpace, Facebook or other site to compassion.com.

Imagine how blessed you will feel if a child is linked with a caring sponsor or receives essential support because of your effort!

The “Learn more about this opportunity” link has the details of how you can get the scrapbook.

    I’ve included them here too.

    your name
    your complete mailing address
the URL of the blogpost linked to Compassion

I have several entries about Compassion and today I entered one about the child I sponsor.
So how will you know how to send me a scrapbook?
    Sounds mercenary; Just curious.

    Denise,
I’m assuming that when you say “at Busiula” you are referring to the Busiula Student Center (UG-309). If I’m right, then the child you saw in the photo is not Wandera David. UG-309 is near Iganga, but the bloggers are in Kampala.

I just viewed the pics and there is a young man facing the Compassion group(26th picture post, I think) and he has a lancet around his neck with some kind of badge. He looks like my Wandera David at Busiula. Would any of you know if that is him. I have been sponsoring him for 11 years and our letters back and forth bless and give me so much joy.

Happy Valentine’s!! What better way to show love than carrying out Jesus’ love to the children of the world! Thank you so much for this trip and sharing your journey with us! I sponsor a young man in Uganda at the Busiula Child Development Center and wanted so much to go on last year’s sponsor trip. I will travel vicariously with you all until I am able to go myself! Looking forward to your blogs and praying for each of you and the lives you touch! Godspeed!

My mother in law sponsors a child through Compassion, on behalf of my almost seven year old daughter!

I’ve also posted the info and links to the blog tour on my personal blog!

    Praying….

Got the widget on my blog, and have subscribed to all the blogs involved.

It is great being able to follow the trip through so many talented bloggers, each with a unique view of the experience.

Other than being totally jealous that I’m not going on this trip- I have been really excited about following along via the bloggers.

In addition to sponsoring our own child, Juma. I have gone on several trips to Tanzania recently and have spent time at Compassion centers in and around Arusha… So I can testify firsthand to the wonderful work that Compassion is doing there…

Keep up the good work- I’ll do my part to get the word out and will be praying for new sponsors for these beautiful children.

I think this is great. I can’t wait to see how this blog site turns out. I love what Compassion does for the kids. I alway’s get such a warm & fuzzy feeling when I get a letter from one of my three kids. I have one in the Dom.Republic, one in the Phillipines, and one in Thailand, I think EVERYONE should try this, I think if they do they’ll be hooked & want to keep adding to their Compassion family.
God Bless You, With Love & Prayers Anna Grupe
