Green is the color of nature. It represents balance and symbolizes self-respect, growth and harmony. It also symbolizes freshness – like a fresh opportunity, a chance to succeed and break the cycle of poverty.

My response was not to say that I believe Ghandi did or did not put his faith in Jesus, but to point out that the world sees a disparity in what we preach and what we do. We certainly must pray for the lost and we must allow God to touch them through showing them Jesus in our own lives. We do a disservice to a Savior that died to save us by treating others with disrespect. Jesus welcomes all who will accept him.
I have to agree with you. I know quite a few people who will have nothing to do with church or christianity because of the disrespect and judgements they received from christians. Or they have told me how a christian would tell them I love the sinner but hate the sin but they could tell by the christian’s behavior that the christian really hated them too but tried to hide it.
Oh my, what an unloving comment, Seth. Ghandi once said something to the effect “I love your Jesus, not so much your Christians. They are so unlike your Jesus.”
I don’t have the exact quote but the sentiment certainly applies.
That’s a common reaction from unbelievers when confronted with the Truth of God’s Word, but what Seth said is true. If we don’t act, if we don’t pray for the lost, then their road will lead them to an eternal death.
Tell us, did Gandhi put his faith in Jesus before he died? Where is his soul today?
That was a bit uncalled for. I think Leia was just observing that people who live in those cultures would see green as a heavenly, happy color. She wasn’t commenting on the religion of Islam at all.
Absolutely gorgeous!

Apart from Jesus, Muslim cultures will never see heaven. Islam is a road that leads only to hell.
It is the fruit of Compassion’s project partners that opens the door to true salvation for the children and their families. Blessed be their efforts to share Christ in this world.

In Muslim cultures, green is also the color of heaven! So beautiful!
