Determination is the act of making up our mind about something. Many people struggle without this powerful quality, while people with determination get tremendous results.

Junior was 5 years old when he joined Compassion’s program. Now 17, he faces many pressures and dangers within his community of Portoviejo, Ecuador.

We can’t blame our circumstances, our husband or wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, boss, employees, pastors, or government. We shouldn’t even blame the devil. Our sin is our own fault and our attitudes are the cause.

Although our sponsored children don’t have access to many material resources, they have access to the immeasurable love of Christ! Pray that your sponsored child would live a life of love — committed to the love of their Lord and the love of others around them.

When Marion and her father went to a local health center, the doctor used the same needle on both of them due to a shortage of supplies. Marion’s father was unaware of the danger this posed to his daughter.
