An important component to committing to sponsor a child is knowing the organization you are partnering with. We believe there are six questions you should ask before deciding which organization is right for you.

How much do our lives really differ from our neighbors? Our parties, gatherings, duties, calendar, and concerts may be “Christian,” but do we really spend our time any differently?

Throughout the years poverty related issues have caused us to lose sponsored children, family members of sponsored children and even some of our staff. On this Memorial Day, will you join us in remembering and celebrating the lives of these loved ones who are no longer with us?

Church was for families who could afford the clothes to wear. Church was for families that were functional, families whose mothers weren’t bipolar and whose fathers had a job and didn’t drink too much.

Some of the places where sponsored children live are rife with corruption. Pray that your sponsored child would reject corruption and would be examples of honesty and integrity in their community.

Wongduan wiped beads of perspiration from her brow, rested her hands on her swollen abdomen, and leaned her head against the wall. Feeling nauseated, she closed her eyes, hoping to rest, but the memory of her two miscarried children haunted her.

The moment we recognize our sin as such, truly repent before God and turn our lives over to Him, we will surely experience the most refreshing and peaceful time in our lives.

Alemnesh loves ministering to children and watching them grow into mature Christian citizens. A typical day for Alemnesh is very busy — but rewarding.
