The Prayers of a Sponsored Child

These sponsored children in Togo pray to ask God for direction, for someone to love them, for provision — for more of Him. How different (or similar) are your prayers?

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” — Philippians 4:6, NASB

What a beautiful reminder…of how we can pray for these specific children & families, of how we can pray for our Compassion children & their families, and of how quickly I can take the smallest of blessings for granted… Thank you for this today–God’s using it in my heart.

I just received a gift catalog, however it does me little good to have these choices when I have no idea of the needs of the child I sponsor! Please send me information as to how I can find out the needs of my sponsored child!

The gift catalog doesn’t provide gifts to your specific child. It goes to other children in the program.

If you would like to send a gift to your child, you can send a monetary gift. The Compassion staff at your child’s project will sit down with the family and help determine the best ways to spend the money.

To send a monetary gift you can call Compassion M-F at 1-800-336-7676 and talk to a phone rep. Or, you can log into your account at and click the Give a Gift link.

      I hope this helps.
